Patient stories show us the lived experiences of the people who use our services.
They help us to understand what is working well for patients and their families and to see if we can make services better.
They also show people who are new to our services the type of care we provide.
This page will contain stories from patients and their families about their experiences.

Patient Stories to Board
Our Board of Directors sets the strategic direction for the Trust and are responsible for ensuring we provide high quality, safe and effective services.
Patients and carers are welcomed to board meetings to share their experiences of the care we have provided.
By hearing directly from patients and carers, the board can better understand the lived experience of our patients and gain insight into our service quality.
Understanding patients’ experiences can lead to making changes that will improve care for other people and/or highlight areas of good practice.
