Confidentiality and consent

We encourage young people to talk to their parents/carers about health issues that are troubling them.

Although School Nurses offer a confidential service to young people, there are times when the School Nurse may need to share information and this will be explained to you to keep you safe.

Youth In Mind – Warrington Youth Zone

Youth In Mind at Warrington Youth Zone is somewhere that you can go to talk about your feelings and get help if you are feeling worried or sad.

Friendly grown-ups are there to listen and support you, so you don’t have to deal with problems on your own. It’s a safe space to share how you feel and learn ways to look after your mental health.

This group helps children and young people who have trouble sleeping. They also help parents, teachers, and other adults learn about good sleep.


Drugs and Alcohol Advice

Drugs and alcohol can be harmful to your body and mind. If you have questions or are worried about drugs or alcohol, talk to a trusted adult or ask for help. There are people who can support you and give you good advice to stay safe and healthy.

The Ways in Warrington is a place where young people can get help if they are worried about drugs or alcohol. You can talk to the people there if you have questions or need support. They are friendly, will listen to you, and will keep what you say private. They want to help you make good choices and stay safe and healthy.
