A Referral to occupational therapy needs to be completed by a health professional such as:
- GP
- Health Visitor
- School nurse
- Speech and language therapy
- Paediatrician
- Audiology
- Specialist nurses.

The role of an occupational therapist is to provide advice and strategies to support children who are having difficulty participating in their everyday activities.
If you have questions similar to those listed above, call the Warrington Children’s Occupational Therapy Service for support and advice!
The service is available for children up to the age of 16 years (up to 19 years if in a specialist educational setting).
