Warrington 0-19 information and leaflets

Until the current covid-19 restrictions are lifted your 0-19 service will now provide one-to-one individual, pre-booked appointments at your request rather than traditional drop in well baby clinics.

As soon as safe to do so, and in-line with government requirements, this will be reviewed and drop in clinics reinstated.

Should you have any queries or concerns regarding you baby or child, or your baby needs to be weighed, please contact your local Health Visiting team on the numbers below for advice or to arrange a one to one with a member of the HV team.

East Team (Spencer House, WA3 7PG): 01925 946858

South Team (Grappenhall Clinic, WA4 2NW): 01925 946529

At this stage this support is then available from our school  nurse colleagues until your child finishes their education in year 13.

The Health Visiting Team deliver the national Health Child Programme.

As part of the Healthy Child Programme, your family will be offered:

  • 1 – Pre Birth visit – offered in the late stages of pregnancy
  • 2 – Birth Visit – usually within 10-14 days of your baby’s birth
  • 3 – 6-8 week visit
  • 4 – 9-12 month development review
  • 5 – 2-2.5 year development review

We will also contact all parents around 3-4 months via letter to offer.

Please contact us at any stage if you are needing advice or support or are worried about your child’s development eg feeding, diet, behaviour, sleep, potty training, meeting milestones to name but a few.

We are the clinical experts in these areas and as a result we tailor-make a package of care.

This is as individual as your family is, with support around weaning and introducing solids.
