Welcome to Halton’s 0-19 Healthy Child Service, an integrated service made up of qualified Health Visitors, School Nurses, Family Nurses (FNP), Public Health Community Nurses supported by a range of public health practitioners and clerical colleagues, a school-aged immunisation team and an Infant Feeding Nurse Specialist.
All children and young people are entitled to a universal service, we take a public health approach to care which means, we focus on preventing ill-health, health promotion, health protection and early intervention.
We deliver our service with a range of local partners to promote the best level of health and wellbeing.
Who is our service for?
Our service is for pregnant women, children, and young people from the age of 0-19 or 25 years for those with special educational needs and or disability and their families.
