Our dedicated work experience page will provide you will all the advice and information you need relating to placement opportunities available at Bridgewater Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.
What kind of placements do we have available?
Our placements are pre planned with teams, you can find the list of available placements on the calendar at the bottom of this page.
This will outline what placements are still available for you to apply to.
There is a mix of both clinical and non-clinical opportunities across the Trust, ranging from insight days to 5-day block placements.
Where do the placements take place?
Most of our placements are within the boroughs of Halton or Warrington, they will be within local health centres or clinics or in one of our corporate offices.
We additionally have some opportunities in other geographical areas specifically with our specialist dental network.
Who can apply for Work Experience placements?
Within Bridgewater you must be 16 or over to complete clinical work experience, due to the nature of the work.
However, our non-clinical opportunities are open to anyone aged 14 or over.
As a community based Trust we do try to prioritise applications from individuals who reside in the communities in which we provide healthcare services, but all applications will be given due consideration.
How do I apply for a Work Experience placement?
At the bottom of this page is a link to our Microsoft Form which once submitted will come directly to the Careers and Apprenticeship Team for consideration.
Please ensure all fields on the form are completed, we expect applications to be clear and clearly demonstrate why you are interested in undertaking the placement you are applying for.
