Bridgewater Warrington Children’s Services update

Young childFor parents and carers of Warrington

I wanted to take this opportunity to reassure you that Bridgewater Children’s Services are open and here for you to access advice and support.

The Covid-19 pandemic has been unprecedented in the challenges it has brought to us all and how it has affected everyone, in particular children, young people and their families and carers

Children’s Services within Bridgewater have remained open throughout the current crisis, however, as I am sure you will appreciate we have had to make changes to support the Covid response and requirement for social distancing during lockdown.

This means the level of service offered has varied depending on the team and we have had to prioritise our caseload accordingly.

As I am sure you can appreciate, this has meant that we haven’t seen you as quickly as we would wish to, or you may still be waiting to be seen.

We apologise for this and it is our aim to be able to see your children as soon as possible as we look to re-introduce those elements of our service which we have had to reduce during this period.

We will be in touch, but in the meantime if you do have any concerns or feel that your child’s needs are worsening please contact the teams you are under directly or contact the main CDC reception on 01925 946480 and you can be directed to the most appropriate service.

Kind Regards
Greg Field-Clinical Manager, Children’s Specialist Services for Warrington.
