Emily joined Bridgewater as an apprentice in 2023 and works in the Education and Professional Development (EPD) Team.

As a highly valued member of her team, she is heavily involved in supporting the smooth running of the department, whilst completing her Level 3 Business Administration programme.

Talking about the recognition, Emily said:

“It was a lovely surprise to be given the Rising Star award as a part of my apprenticeship, and especially during National Apprenticeship Week.

“It’s nice to know that my work is appreciated and that my assessor has recognised my progress throughout my studies so far.”

Sarah Power is the Trusts apprentice lead. She said:

“It was a busy and exciting week! Apprenticeships are really supporting us to grow, diversify and develop our workforce.

“We’re really proud of all our Bridgewater apprentices past and present, so it is great to have a week dedicated to celebrating this.

“Emily demonstrates real commitment to the acquisition of new knowledge and skills at college but also the application of them in the workplace. She is a great example of the quality of apprentices we have in our NHS workforce.”
