BCHFT Careers – Work Experience

BCHFT Careers iconOur dedicated work experience page will provide you will all the advice and information you need relating to placement opportunities available at Bridgewater Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.

What kind of placements do we have available?

There is a mix of both clinical and non-clinical opportunities across the Trust, ranging from insight days to 5-day block placements.

Where do the placements take place?

Most of our placements are within the boroughs of Halton or Warrington, they will be within local health centres or clinics or in one of our corporate offices.

Who can apply for Work Experience placements?

Within Bridgewater you must be 16 or over to complete clinical work experience, due to the nature of the work. However, our non-clinical opportunities are open to anyone aged 14 or over.

How do I apply for a Work Experience placement?

At the bottom of this page is a link to our Microsoft Form.  Once you have submitted this form, the Careers and Apprenticeship Team will email you with more information including details of how to access to the Creating Careers website.

You will be required to complete some independent learning via creating careers, prior to being considered for a placement. You will need to email the team with evidence of this learning at which point you will be provided with available placement dates and options.
