A Referral to Physiotherapy needs to be completed by a health professional such as:
- GP
- Health Visitor
- School nurse
- Speech and language therapy
- Paediatrician
- Audiology
- Specialist nurses.

Or by email to: bchft.warringtonchildrensphysio@nhs.net.
All referrals are reviewed on arrival into the department.
The referrals are then triaged and placed on a waiting list. Letters are sent to the family confirming the referral has been accepted.
An opt in letter will be sent out once we are able to offer an appointment for assessment and families must contact us within 10 working days to make an appointment. If no contact is made then the referral is closed with referrer informed.
