Description of service

The overall aim of the Dermatology service is to provide local, high quality care for patients suffering from a vast range of dermatological conditions.

The Dermatology service provides diagnosis, treatment and management of these conditions with a focus on triage, clinical assessment and patient self help guidance. The service also provides advice and Education and training for clinical colleagues.

Who can access the service?

Any person, adult or child who is registered with a St Helens GP.

How can people access the Dermatology service?

Referral by own GP or Clinician.

Where is the service offered?

Sessions run from Mill Street Medical centre in St Helens and Newton Hospital in Newton-Le-Willows.
