Our Complex Needs Nursing Team provides a wide range of training within community settings.

The training is carried out by qualified and experienced nursing staff and is supported by assistant practitioners, nursing assistant and admin team.

Training can be provided to parents/carers and education staff in a variety of settings.

Promoting  the best continuity of care for your child or young person and ensuring everyone looking after your child or young person understands their needs and how best to care for them.

Examples of training that can be delivered include:

  • Gastrostomy care
  • Administration of oxygen
  • Tracheostomy care & airway management
  • Ventilation NIV and LTV
  • Oral and nasal suction
  • Advice and support on epilepsy and seizure management.
  • Saturation Monitoring
  • Buccal Midazolam
  • Jejunostomy Care and Feeding
  • Nasogastric Feeding

We are a recognised placement for Student Nurses completing Nursing Degrees from regional Universities, this includes sign-off mentors for Students at the end of their academic year.
