Welcome to Bridgewater Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust
Important information on Coronavirus (COVID-19)
If you have symptoms of COVID-19:
- a high temperature – you feel hot to touch on your chest or back.
- a new, continuous cough – this means you’ve started coughing repeatedly.
- loss or change to your sense of smell or taste – this means you’ve noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal.
It’s important that you stay at home for seven days to help protect your friends and neighbours. Do not go to a GP surgery, health centre, pharmacy or hospital.
If you live with other people, they should stay at home for at least 14 days, to avoid spreading the infection outside the home. Read the NHS advice about staying at home.
If your condition gets worse please use the 111 coronavirus service: https://111.nhs.uk/covid-19.
Status of Bridgewater services during Covid-19
In order to support the response to coronavirus (Covid-19) we have been asked by NHS England to stop or partially stop the delivery of a number of our community services.
Some adults and children’s services will be suspended with immediate effect for a period of at least three months, so that our staff can support the local response to coronavirus.
If you have any urgent concerns about your condition as a result of this change please contact our Patient Services team via email at firstname.lastname@example.org in the first instance or call 0800 587 0562.
